Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 JEEP RENEGADE. UPON SHIFTING THE VEHICLE FROM PARK INTO REVERSE, THE VEHICLE MOVED FORWARD. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE WAS DEFECTIVE. WHEN THE FUEL TANK WAS FILLED, THE GAUGE STILL DISPLAYED THAT THE TANK WAS EMPTY. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO LAWLEY TOYOTA (2750 US-180, SILVER CITY, NM 88061, (575) 538-3777) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE COULD OCCUR WHEN THE COMPUTER REPROGRAMMED ITSELF. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN PLACED ON THE VEHICLE REGARDING THE TRANSMISSION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT SOMEONE FROM THE CHRYSLER CARE MANAGEMENT TEAM WOULD CONTACT HER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64.
