Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE LUG NUTS SWOLE WHILE DRIVING. THE FAILURE PREVENTED THE TIRES FROM BEING CHANGED, IF NEEDED. JEFF WYLER EASTGATE AUTO MALL (1117 OH-32, BATAVIA, OH 45103, (513) 752-3447) REPLACED ALL OF THE LUG NUTS THAT WERE NOT SWOLLEN FROM DRIVING USE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WERE REDESIGNING THE LUG NUTS FROM ONE YEAR TO THE NEXT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS CURRENTLY NO RECALL FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,000.
