Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHALLENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO MARINO CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE (LOCATED AT 5133 W IRVING PARK RD, CHICAGO, IL 60641, (773) 777-2000) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIN MODULE OF THE IGNITION SWITCH FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE REPAIR FEES. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL FOR THE IGNITION SWITCH AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.
