Consumer Description
I HAVE 107,000 MILES ON 2015 FORD FUSION. ON MY WAY HOME MY CAR LOST POWER AND WAS NOT SHIFTING. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT HOME. I HAD CAR TOWED TO TUTTLE CLICK FORD IN SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA. I WAS NOTIFIED THAT I WAS GOING TO NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, AND I VOICED MY CONCERNS TO THE SERVICE MANAGER. I HAVE DONE RESEARCH ONLINE AND FOUND MANY COMPLAINTS WITH THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS WITH FORD FUSIONS. I HAVE SENT EMAILS TO MR. FORD AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER AND CEO OF FORD AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE. THERE ARE NO RECALLS FOR THIS ISSUE FOR MY MODEL YEAR, YET IT SEEMS TO BE AN ONGOING PROBLEM. ALSO FORD FOCUS AND FESTIVAL HAVE HAD A NUMBER OF COMPLAINTS AS WELL. MY CAR WAS ON A CITY STREET IN MOTION WHEN THE SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER AND JERKING MOTION STARTED.
