Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP PATRIOT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED INTERMITTENTLY WHILE IN TRAFFIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE OWNER'S MANUAL SUGGESTED TO PULL THE VEHICLE OVER AND RESTART IT AFTER 8 TO 15 SECONDS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED; HOWEVER, THE MANUAL INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE. IF THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR FLASHED, THE OWNER'S MANUAL SUGGESTED TO STOP DRIVING THE VEHICLE. CLOQUET FORD CHRYSLER CENTER (701 WASHINGTON AVE, CLOQUET, MN 55720, (218) 879-4668) WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000.
