2015 RAM 1500 ECODIESEL MILEAGE: ~97,000 DATE OF INCIDENT: 03/24/2019 COMPLAINT: ENGINE FIRE. LOCATION: TWO LANE STATE HIGHWAY (IN MOTION) SPEED: 55-60 TOWING: BOAT (~3000 LBS) SOURCE OF FIRE: FUEL INJECTOR (STATED BY RAM CERTIFIED DIESEL MECHANIC) RAM WARRANTY CLAIM: DENIED BY WHAT FIAT CHRYSLER CALLED "LEGAL" (MY TRUCK WAS STILL WITHIN THE 100,000 MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY) OUTCOME: UTILIZED MY INSURANCE (ALLSTATE). ALLSTATE DOES NOT COVER THE SOURCE OF FIRE THUS, YOU WILL NOT SEE THE COST OF THE "FUEL INJECTOR" ON THE INSURANCE CLAIM DOCUMENT. SUBMIT DOCUMENT: INSURANCE CLAIM DOCUMENT INCLUDED.
