Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A CUSTOMER COURTESY SERVICE LETTER TO HAVE THE VEHICLE EVALUATED AND REPAIRED FOR FUMES INSIDE THE CABIN AND A SOFTWARE PATCH IMPLEMENTED. THE REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED ON MAY 15, 2018, BUT THEY DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURES. VILLAGE FORD (11660 SE NORTH, US-441, BELLEVIEW, FL 34420) WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 22,158.
