TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED RECALL NOTICES FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 16V352000 (AIR BAGS)AND 16V290000 (AIR BAGS). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SOUTH POINT DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM (LOCATED AT 5210 S IH 35 FRONTAGE RD, AUSTIN, TX 78745) AND REPAIRED. AFTER THE CONTACT LEFT THE DEALER AND WAS DRIVING HOME AT 65 MPH, A BURNING ODOR WAS DETECTED COMING FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,030.
