Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE DART. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V293000 (POWER TRAIN). THE CONTACT CALLED MAC HAIK DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM AT (281) 301-5150 (LOCATED AT 11000 NORTH FWY, HOUSTON, TX 77037) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STARTED, BUT WOULD NOT MOVE. THERE WAS NO WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT REQUESTED A LOANER VEHICLE AND WAS INFORMED BY THE MANUFACTURER THAT SOMEONE WOULD GET BACK TO HIM IN 24 HOURS. THE CONTACT DID NOT WANT TO WAIT 24 HOURS, STATING THAT HE HAD LOST SOME DAYS OF WORK AND PAID TOO MUCH FOR TRANSPORTATION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
