TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP COMPASS. WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE AND TURNING LEFT, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED THE FOLLOWING DAY. AFTER INVESTIGATING FAILURE ON THE INTERNET, THE CONTACT ASSOCIATED THE FAILURE WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V907000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000.
