Consumer Description

MY RAM 1500 WAS TAKEN TO DEALER BECAUSE OF THE "RECALL U07 DX 8-SPEED ROTARY." AS I PULLED OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP I HAD NO POWER FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 SECONDS. I DROVE THE TRUCK 5 MILES, STILL HAVING "LAG TIME" WHEN I PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED AND RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY INFORMED ME THEY HAD TO "REGENERATE" THE RECALL. THEY DID SO, BUT THE RESULT WAS STILL "LAG TIME." THEY THEN INFORMED ME IT WOULD TAKE "TIME" FOR THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION "COMPUTERS" TO SYNCHRONIZE. I HAVE DRIVEN THE RAM OVER 100 MILES AND THE PROBLEM STILL EXIST. THE PROBLEM WAS DOCUMENTED BY MR.DARREN LINDEMANN AT "CORWIN DODGE RAM" IN SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI. 417-862-9272
