Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS SHINY AND STICKY, WHICH CREATED A SERIOUS SUN GLARE. THE DASHBOARD SEEMS TO BE MELTING AND DISINTEGRATING BEYOND REPAIR AND REALLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HENDRICK TOYOTA CONCORD (704-467-8287, LOCATED AT 7670 BRUTON SMITH BLVD, CONCORD, NC 28027) AND WAS INFORMED TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 175,000. *BF*JB
