Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 KIA SOUL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL CLICKING SOUND COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER (HUTCHINSON AUTO MALL, 3989 RIVER PLACE DRIVE, MACON, GA 31210, 478-757-2177) INDICATED THAT THEY REPAIRED THE VEHICLE PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V120000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING); HOWEVER, THE REMEDY FAILED TO PROVIDE A PERMANENT REPAIR. AFTER THE REPAIR, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED REDUCED ENGINE POWER AND THE CLICKING NOISE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT LATER RECEIVED AN EXTENDED WARRANTY CAMPAIGN. A LOANER VEHICLE OPTION WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
