TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 KIA SOUL. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE SEIZED AND THE OIL AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO LITHIA FORD LINCOLN OF ROSEBURG (1650 NE STEPHENS ST, ROSEBURG, OR 97470, (541) 537-4643) WHERE THEY DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO BUTLER KIA (4950 CRATER LAKE AVE, MEDFORD, OR 97504, (541) 776-3088) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
