Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 JAGUAR XF. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE PRODUCED THICK SMOKE, LOST FUEL, HAD AN ABNORMAL FUEL ODOR, FAILED TO ACCELERATE OCCASIONALLY, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED, AND "RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE" APPEARED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO JAGUAR OF ANNAPOLIS (101 FERGUSON RD, ANNAPOLIS, MD 21409, (855) 741-8067) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT FOUR FUEL INJECTORS NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED AND A NEW CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS NEEDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 66,000.
