Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 RAM 2500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45-55 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE SWITCHED TO LIMP MODE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE COULD NO LONGER DRIVE ABOVE 5 MPH. THE CONTACT ASKED SEVERAL UNKNOWN DEALERS TO UPDATE THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,200.
