TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE JOURNEY. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE MADE LOUD ABNORMAL NOISES AND WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF SECOND GEAR. IN ADDITION, THE TRACTION CONTROL AND CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. ESSIG MOTORS (2204 SE 3RD ST, ALEDO, IL 61231, (309) 582-5336) INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE POWER TRAIN MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 193,000.
