Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED AND BOTH REAR WHEELS SEIZED. THE STEERING WHEEL ALSO SEIZED AND BECAME DIFFICULT TO STEER WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND POWERED OFF THE ENGINE. THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED AND WAS ABLE TO DRIVE NORMALLY, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
