Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 RAM 1500. WHILE THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN THE PARK POSITION, THE VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS DOWN THE DRIVEWAY. IN ADDITION, WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE TRANSMISSION ERRONEOUSLY SWITCHED FROM DRIVE INTO PARK, ALTHOUGH THE GEAR SHIFTER REMAINED IN THE DRIVE POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. COURTESY CHRYSLER (2225 E. LINCOLN HWY, COATESVILLE, PA) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 21,000.
