Consumer Description
REAR LEAF SPRING BROKE IN HALF AND WAS RUBBING AGAINST TIRE ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. CUSTOMER PAID FOR REPAIRS WHICH WAS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY AND BEFORE THE SAFETY RECALL WAS ISSUED. CUSTOMER MAILED TO TOYOTA A COPY OF THE REPAIR ORDER, PROOF OF PAYMENT, AND PROOF OF OWNERSHIP AS REQUESTED. TOYOTA HAS REFUSED TO PAY FOR REPAIRS.
