TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE DURANGO. WHILE DRIVING, THE TRANSMISSION CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO JERK VIOLENTLY WHEN THE RPMS REACHED A CERTAIN NUMBER. THE FAILURE OCCURRED OFTEN AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT A NEW TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
