Consumer Description
ENGINE OIL LEAKING BETWEEN OIL FILTER AND FILTER ADAPTER ASSY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO OC WELCH FORD ON DEC. 28TH 2018 FOR REPAIR FOR FIRST TIME. THE FILTER THEN BEGAN TO SLOW LEAK OIL AND THE VEHICLE AGAIN WAS TAKEN TO OC WELCH FORD ON JAN.18TH 2019. THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE THE ADAPTER ASSY HAS EITHER A HAIRLINE CRACK OR WAS MACHINED OUT OF SPECS. OC WELCH FORD ORDERED THE ADAPTER ASSY. CURRENTLY PENDING NOTIFICATION FROM THE DEALER WHEN REPAIR IS COMPLETE.
