Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD TAURUS. WHEN THE CONTACT ENTERED THE VEHICLE AND PRESSED THE PUSH TO START BUTTON, THE ENGINE WOULD NOT REV. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO UNIVERSITY FORD NORTH (5331 N ROXBORO ST, DURHAM, NC 27712) WHERE THEY RESET THE SYSTEM. THE FOLLOWING DAY, WHILE DRIVING OUT OF A PARKING LOT, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP MODULE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 79,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
