Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 JEEP COMPASS. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHUT OFF. AFTER RESTARTING THE ENGINE, THE VEHICLE OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BERGLUND CHRYSLER JEEP (2525 FRANKLIN RD, ROANOKE, VA) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CRANK SENSOR WAS FAULTY. THE CRANK SENSOR WAS REPROGRAMMED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.
