Consumer Description
TOOK THIS KIA INTO MY DEALERSHIP TO HAVE A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT LOOKED AT AND IT HAS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS RECALL NUMBER 17V224000. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOLD ME THAT BARINGS IN CYLINDERS 2 AND 3 ARE GOING BAD AND THAT THERE IS METAL SHAVINGS IN THE OIL PAN. EXACTLY LIKE THE RECALL THAT MY VIN IN APPARENTLY NOT PART OF.
