Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BMW 328D. WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO BMW OF SAN ANTONIO (LOCATED AT 15507 I-10, SAN ANTONIO, TX 78249) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL AND THEY WOULD ONLY ASSIST IF A BMW DEALER REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 48,300.
