Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND COMPLETELY TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ELKINS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (1434 BEVERLY PIKE, ELKINS, WV 26241, (304) 636-2243) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE BURNED AND CAUSED THE FUEL PUMP TO MALFUNCTION. THE DEALER STATED THAT A NEW FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
