TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BMW 328D. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V755000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE COOLANT INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE MADE STRANGE NOISES. THE CONTACT CALLED IRVINE BMW AT 949-523-3960 (LOCATED AT 9881 RESEARCH DR, IRVINE, CA 92618) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE RECALL REPAIR; HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN RECOMMENDED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 111,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
