Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 HONDA CR-V. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED TO 35 MPH AND THE CHECK ENGINE SYMBOL ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT CALLED VALLEY HI HONDA AT (760) 962-9600 (LOCATED AT 15710 VALLEY PARK LN, VICTORVILLE, CA 92394) AND WAS INFORMED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE SHOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE SAME DEALER WHERE IT DIAGNOSED THAT THE MASS AIR FLOW WAS HIGH. THE TECHNICIAN ADDED FUEL CONDITIONER, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE SAME DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN CHANGED THE OIL AND UPDATED THE COMPUTER SYSTEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,100.
