Consumer Description

MY VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING WHAT IS REFERRED TO AS THE 'DEATH WOBBLE' WHEN FLAT TOWED BEHIND MY MOTORHOME AND MAKING A TURN AT LOW SPEED. THIS PROBLEM ALSO OCCURRED IN JEEP CHEROKEE AND JEEP CAME OUT WITH A FIX. THE PROBLEM WAS TRACED BACK TO THE THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING WHICH WAS NEW TO THE JEEP CHEROKEE AND ALSO GRAND CHEROKEE IN 2017. THIS PROBLEM CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS IF PULLING INTO A ROAD AND HAVING TO STOP BECAUSE OF A RISK OF LOOSING CONTROL OF THE JEEP VEHICLE. THE ONLY WAY STOP THE SIDE TO SIDE 'DEATH WOBBLE' IS TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. ON COMING TRAFFIC FROM THE REAR WOULD NOT REALIZE YOU HAVE PROBLEM AND REAR ENDING ACCIDENT IS EMINATE.
