Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 TOYOTA TUNDRA. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 09V444000 (STRUCTURE). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MOTOR WORLD (150 MOTORWORLD DR, WILKES-BARRE, PA 18702) WHERE AN ANTI-CORROSIVE SPRAY WAS APPLIED TO THE FRAME. THE FRAME BECAME RUSTED A FEW YEARS LATER AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE FRAME WAS SPRAYED AGAIN. A FEW YEARS LATER, THE BRAKE LINES HAD TO BE REPLACED DUE TO THE CORROSION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 95,000. *BF*JB
