Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SERVICE ENGINE, FUEL CAP, AND ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING INDICATORS KEPT FLASHING. ALSO, THERE WAS A DRASTIC REDUCTION IN SPEED AND THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO ACCELERATE WHILE ON AN INCLINE OR HILL TO THE POINT OF STALLING. THE CONTACT ALSO NOTICED A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER (RAMEY CHRYSLER JEEP, DODGE, RAM, 498 COURTHOUSE RD, PRINCETON, WV 24739, 1-888-794-4317) WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURER INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EXCLUDED FROM ANY RECALLS. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114,000.
