Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 DODGE CHALLENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE LOST POWER AND ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS PUSHED TO THE SIDE WITH THE HELP OF THE POLICE. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TOWED TO THE DALLAS DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM DEALER (214-327-9361, 11550 LYNDON B JOHNSON FWY, DALLAS, TX 75238) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ALTERNATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 66,800.
