Consumer Description
I OWN A 2018 NISSAN MURANO SV (VIN [XXX]). IT HAS APPROXIMATELY 17,500 MILES. THE AUTOMATED EMERGENCY BRAKING (AEB) IS MALFUNCTIONING. I AM RECEIVING AN ERROR MESSAGE IN THE DASH DISPLAY THAT THE AEB DISABLED EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN ENGAGED IN THE SETTINGS MENU. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I ENGAGE THE SYSTEM I KEEP RECEIVING THE ERROR MESSAGE THAT THE SYSTEM IS DISABLED. I UNDERSTAND THIS MAY BE A PROBLEM WITH THE RADAR UNITS. I AM SENDING THIS MESSAGE AS DOCUMENTATION THAT THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THESE UNITS.
