Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT AN ABNORMAL NOISE WAS DETECTED COMING FROM THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING THE VEHICLE, THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GENE MESSER FORD LUBBOCK (6000 19TH SOUTH, LUBBOCK, TX 79407, (806) 793-2727) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE PURGE VALVE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
