TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET IMPALA. WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN AT A LOW SPEED, A GRINDING SOUND WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. IN ADDITION, THE BRAKE ASSIST, TRACTION CONTROL, STABILITY CONTROL, AND ABS WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,000.
