Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD ESCAPE. ON TWO OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING AT UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE UNTIL APPROXIMATELY TWO HOURS LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO #1 COCHRAN FORD OF ALLEGHENY VALLEY (LOCATED AT 110 ROUTE 908, NATRONA HEIGHTS, PA 15065, (877) 844-2719) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS CORROSION TO THE FUSE AND WIRES, WHICH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
