Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH AND MAKING A LEFT TURN, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PHILLIPS CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (LOCATED AT 3440 S PINE AVE, OCALA, FL 34471, (352) 732-7577) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE MECHANIC WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE OR RETRIEVE A FAULT CODE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000. **TR CONSUMER STATED VEHICLE LOST POWER AS ENTERING INTERSECTION. I AM NOT SURE IT STALLED, I THINK MORE LIKELY LOST ACCELERATOR CONTROL, AS I DID NOT SEE ANY WARNING LIGHTS. IT WAS A DOWN HILL "COAST" TO STOP ABOUT 300 YARDS SO NOT CLEAR IF VEHICLE WAS "COASTING" OR DRIVING AT IDLE SPEED. PUTTING INTO PARK, PUSHING ENGINE BUTTON TO STOP AND START SOLVED THE PROBLEM.
