TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DASHBOARD WAS MELTING AND CAUSED A GLARE FROM THE SUN, WHICH OBSTRUCTED THE DRIVER'S VIEW. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND CASE NUMBER: 1808242592 WAS OPENED. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO INFORMED THE CONTACT OF AN UNKNOWN CLOSED MANUFACTURER RECALL FOR THE DASHBOARD FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 57,000.
