Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING 2 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHIFTED INTO PARK, STALLED, AND FAILED TO RESTART. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE LOCAL DEALER (PAMBY MOTORS CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM, 665 DANBURY RD RIDGEFIELD, CT 06877, 203-403-0115) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE WIRES MELTED AND THE CRUISE CONTROL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 189,000.
