Consumer Description
TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD MUSTANG. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V384000 (AIR BAGS) AND STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER (ALLAN VIGIL FORD OF FAYETTEVILLE, INC., 275 GLYN STREET N, FAYETTEVILLE, GEORGIA 30214) CONFIRMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE TO REMEDY THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A LETTER IN JANUARY OF 2018, WHICH STATED THAT PARTS WERE AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
