Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 TOYOTA SEQUOIA. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CARSON CITY TOYOTA (2590 S CARSON ST, CARSON CITY, NV 89701, 775-882-8211) TO BE REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V285000 (AIR BAGS). THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENTIRE FRAME WAS RUSTED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL. THE RUST FAILURE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 180,000.
