TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 MERCURY MOUNTAINEER. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD JUMP AND JERK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.
