TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 RAM 1500. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE, THERE WAS A TICKING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE AND THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DALLAS DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM (11550 LYNDON B JOHNSON FWY, DALLAS, TX 75238, (214) 327-9361) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE MANIFOLD BOLTS DETACHED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
