Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE POWER TRAIN WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CRAIN FORD OF LITTLE ROCK (4601 COLONEL GLENN PLAZA DR., LITTLE ROCK, AR 72210) WHERE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS NOT PERFORMED; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 34,450.
