Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 LINCOLN MKT. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE POWER ASSIST FAULT WARNING INDICATOR SUDDENLY DISPLAYED AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE CONTACT NOTIFIED AN UNKNOWN LOCAL DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS RELATED TO THE VIN FOR THE POWER STEERING. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
