Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE INADVERTENTLY SHIFTED FROM PARK TO NEUTRAL WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 17V821000 (POWER TRAIN) AND 18V160000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE); HOWEVER, THE NOTICED INDICATED THAT THE PARTS TO DO THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIRS. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED ABOUT THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
