TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. WHILE DRIVING UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS ACTIVATED BUT ONLY HOT AIR WAS FELT COMING THROUGH THE VENTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND OPENED CASE NUMBER: [XXX]. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA.
