TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 VOLKSWAGEN CC. WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO LINDSAY VOLKSWAGEN IN STERLING, VIRGINIA WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP MODULE WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTICE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V509000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 85,000.
