TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE SPRINTER 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER (K & M DODGE/RAM IN GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTER ASSEMBLY FELL AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,994.
